Home > Requesting a CPAP Machine

Please fill out the form at the bottom of the page or at this link to request a CPAP Machine and supplies. You will need a current prescription for the equipment to complete the process. We will contact you to arrange a pick-up at our office.

Philips has issued a recall notification for patients using CPAP and Bi-PAP machines that they produced. Philips advises patients to discontinue use of affected units and consult with physicians to determine the benefits of continuing therapy and potential risks. Philips has established a registration process that allows Patients, Users, or Caregivers to look up their device serial number and begin a claim if their unit is affected. Breathe California is unable to answer any questions about recalled units or what Philips’ actions around the recall will be.

Requesting a CPAP Machine from the Sleep Safe Program

Has your doctor diagnosed you with sleep apnea? The total cost of a machine and supplies can exceed $2,000, which insurance often does not cover. Breathe California of the Bay Area is here to help you. We are the only local non-profit that helps sleep apnea patients with low cost breathing equipment and supplies.

Our supporters and medical providers donate gently used CPAP and BiPAP machines and new supplies such as hoses and masks. Our team cleans and sterilizes the machines and replaces consumable supplies. Because we are able to keep costs to a minimum, we can make the machines available to those diagnosed with sleep apnea at very low cost.

Breathe California of the Bay Area is able to serve clients with CPAPs in our 6-county service area: Alameda, Santa Clara, San Benito, Merced, Madera, and Fresno Counties.

Simply complete the form below or fax your current prescription to 408-998-0578. We will check to be sure we have the type of machine your doctor has prescribed and contact you as soon as it is ready to pick up or ship. There is a high demand for CPAP and BiPAP machines, so at times there may be a waiting list for some types of machines. Because these are prescription medical devices, we are required to have your current prescription in order to supply a machine to you.
